What a referral link does
A referral link connects a new Kointent user to the person who invited them. In the Publisher Share to Earn area, your referral link is shown in a box that you can copy or share through WhatsApp. When someone joins through your link, the platform can record the referral relationship.
The important point is that registration alone is not the whole earning story. Referral earnings are tied to eligible activity by the person you referred and the current platform settings. That means you should think about helping people use Kointent properly, not simply collecting as many registrations as possible.
Who can be referred?
The referral system shown in the Publisher dashboard covers different user roles. The dashboard can show a rate for referring a Publisher or Creator and another rate for referring an Advertiser. The Advertiser side is linked to eligible deposits, while Publisher and Creator referrals can be linked to their earnings.
The exact percentage and duration are platform settings. For example, the dashboard currently displays referral percentages and the number of days after joining during which the relationship can qualify. These values can change. Always check the current figures in your account before telling another person exactly what they will earn or what you will earn.
How Publisher and Creator referrals can generate earnings
When you refer a Publisher or Creator, the referral system can calculate your commission from eligible earnings generated by that user during the configured referral period. This is different from taking money from the new user. The referral dashboard records the base amount and the referral amount so you can see how the calculation works.
This makes it important to refer people who are likely to use the platform. A designer who joins but never applies for a gig may not generate the same referral activity as a creator who completes several jobs. A publisher with no website traffic may also generate little or no publisher earning. Quality referrals are more useful than random registrations.
How Advertiser referrals work
Advertiser referrals are connected to eligible deposits. If you introduce a business owner who becomes an advertiser and funds their account, the referral system can calculate a percentage of the qualifying deposit according to the current rules.
This gives you a reason to understand the advertiser side before referring a business. Do not tell a shop owner to deposit money just so you can earn a commission. Instead, explain how Kointent advertising can help the business reach customers. If the business sees real value and chooses to advertise, the referral relationship can benefit naturally.
What the referral dashboard shows
The Share to Earn referral tab is designed to make your referral activity visible. It can show total people referred, referral balance, all-time earned amount and referral events. You can also see the people you referred, their role, join date, expiry information and status.
Recent referral earnings can show who generated the event, the earning type, the base amount, the amount credited to you and the date. This is useful because you do not have to guess whether a referral has produced an earning. Check the dashboard when you need to understand your current position.
How to share your link without annoying people
WhatsApp makes sharing easy, but easy sharing can become spam quickly. Do not send your referral link to every contact with the same message. Think about who actually needs the platform. A friend who is a designer may benefit from the Creator marketplace. A blogger may be interested in Publisher monetization. A shop owner may need advertising.
Write a short message that explains the reason. Instead of βJoin Kointent now!!!β, say something like: βYou mentioned you are looking for more clients for your design work. Kointent has a Creator section where businesses can post gigs. Here is my referral link if you want to check it out.β That is more useful and more trustworthy.
Avoid fake referrals and manipulation
Do not create fake accounts to earn referral commissions. Do not ask people to open multiple accounts. Do not manipulate activity. Referral systems are designed around real users and real activity. Suspicious patterns can lead to review or loss of eligibility.
Your reputation also matters. If you refer people to a platform, they are trusting your recommendation. If you exaggerate the earning potential and they discover that the platform does not work the way you promised, you lose credibility. Be honest about the fact that earnings depend on actual use and platform rules.
Build a referral strategy around education
The best referral marketers teach. Create a simple post explaining what Kointent does. Show a creator how to build a portfolio. Show a publisher how to add a website. Explain CPC and CPM to a business owner. Then give your referral link to people who want to take the next step.
This approach takes more effort than dropping a link, but it can produce better users. People who understand the platform are more likely to complete setup and use the features that match their needs. That is good for them, good for Kointent and better for the long-term value of your referral account.
